Electoral law | The minimum number of either women or men candidates in each political party's list must be equivalent to 10 percent of the seats to be filled (Law 192, Article 2). In a presidential decree from 2002, this is clarified to mean that each party must ensure 10 % of either sex is also elected (Decree 2002-0253, Article 2). |
